The Museum of Illussions is under construction in Rosebank, Gauteng as it makes it’s South African debut.
One of the biggest private chain of museums in the world, the Museum of Illusions will be making it’s South African debut. The Museum of Illusions, which has more than 50 museums across the world, including New York, Paris, Dubai, Chicago and more, is under construction in Rosebank, Gauteng.
The first Museum of Illusions launched in Zagreb, Croatia in 2015 and quickly became a global phenomenon with over 12 million visits to the museums across the world. This year, the city of gold will get to add its name to this list, as Johannesburg will soon be home to its very own Museum of Illusions. The museums features a variety of extraordinary exhibits that use optical illusions, visual tricks, and hands-on interactive displays to create a playful environment.
Construction is currently underway at Museum of Illusions site in Rosebank. However, details surrounding the opening date, the exhibits on offer and the operating hours are yet to be revealed. Jordan Sacks, General manager, Museum of Illusions Johannesburg, expressed that the Museum of Illusions in Rosebank cannot wait to welcome South African families to their new trendy spot.
