Construction is currently underway in Rosebank, Johannesburg, for South Africa's first Museum of Illusions, promising a unique and engaging experience.
According to a press release, the Museum of Illusions is the biggest private chain of museums in the world, with more than 50 museums operating worldwide—from Dubai, Chicago, New York, Paris, Istanbul, and Milan to Shanghai, Cairo, Kuala Lumpur, and Dallas.
The concept first launched in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2015 and soon became a global phenomenon, with over 12 million people having visited the museums to date, reads the press release.
The museum offers visitors fun, interactive, and educational immersion that challenges perceptions and inspires creativity. It boasts an array of exhibits that employ optical illusions, visual tricks, and interactive exhibits, creating a playful atmosphere where 'nothing is ever quite as it seems".
